Data you give us

Only if you fill in the «Publish your business» form do we receive the data you type (business name, contact person, phone, email, address and description). It is used only to review and publish the listing and to reply to you. It is sent by email through the Resend service and is never sold or handed to third parties.

If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we use your message only to reply.

Data collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure, in aggregate, how many people visit the site and which pages they use (page views, device type, approximate city or region, traffic source). Google may use cookies or similar identifiers. We do not use this data to identify you personally or for personalised advertising.

The hosting server (Vercel) logs basic technical data, such as IP address and browser, for security and operation.

Data stored on your device

The app and the site store on your phone the city you chose (Linares or Talca), a copy of pages you already visited so they work offline, and temporary preferences (for example, whether you closed a notice). This information never leaves your device and you can erase it by clearing the app's or browser's data.

Third-party services

Some features load content from other services, which have their own policies: Google Maps and OpenStreetMap maps, YouTube videos, the free translator (the text you type is sent to MyMemory to be translated; do not type personal data), economic indicators from mindicador.cl and weather from Open-Meteo. Links to WhatsApp, phone numbers or business websites take you outside Linares Conecta.

Location, camera and contacts

The app does not request access to your precise location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.

Children

Linares Conecta is a general information directory and is not specifically aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Retention and deletion

Form data is kept while the business listing is published or until you ask for it to be deleted. Analytics data is kept according to the Google Analytics settings (14 months at most).

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or the removal of your business listing, by writing to informaciones@linaresconecta.cl. We reply within 15 business days at most, in line with Chilean Law No. 19,628 on the protection of private life.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this same page with its update date.
