Linares' municipal public library, part of Chile's National Public Library System. It occupies a modern building opened in 2021 right in the town center, with a children's room, book lending, computers with internet, free WiFi and workshops. It is named after Linares lawyer, teacher and writer Manuel Francisco Mesa Seco.
